Description
Wanted to make a drawing of the newly announced actor Jodie Whittaker taking over for Peter Capaldi on Doctor Who. I've only seen her in Attack the Block, but she did a good performance and am curious to see what she'll do differently as the new incarnation of the Doctor.
I know many people are angry over this, the first time a woman played the character after over 50 years the role's been played by men, and reading comments on Facebook definitively showed many were angry over this. And for all you haters...

I think it's ridiculous in a show where one of the main themes is about change that people are against this. But that's true for fans of lots of media, especially comics. I always just think that with the prospect of some stories and scenes that we'd never see with a male doctor, why not just give it a try.
